Can anyone tell me what this is? '75 1.8L mounted behind a black steel bubble low on the frunk core support in front of the fuel tank (driver's side). I thought it might be the fuel filter, but it just doesn't look right.

Fuel pump in a favorable location, except that I tend to kink hoses anyway.
