I am rebuilding the steering column and found this PVC pipe inserted inside.
After doing some research, it seems there should be a guide bushing. However, this bushing appears to be used only on 1972–1974 models, and my car is a 1975. I’m a bit confused about this. Also, there are two bearings in the column—how can I tell if they need to be replaced? Thank you. ![]() |
