I was just telling my son that I knew the clutch cable was going to snap!

On my way home on Friday, it snapped going into 3rd gear! AAA to the rescue!

I have 2 cables on the way so I can have a spare in the car with all the connections.

Of course, this is not the first time this has happened to me and you would think I would have learned the first time....

Has anyone actually changed theirs on the side of the road before???

“ Good plan to have a spare, and a couple 11mm wrenches too “
I keep a small bag with two 11mm wrenches, small vice grip, extra nuts,
And a loop of bungi cord, and of course disposable gloves and a magnetic flashlight
The bungi cord is used to pull up on the clutch pedal inside the cabin
