Dumb question, but I have a later 944/928? spare hire hold down and bolt for my car that I believe would have been the same part more or less for a 914. I am trying add a spare in the front of my car and currently have a spare fuch 6x16 that does not work with the parts in question. The bolt is too short to reach down and grab the threads on the body. Aside from a crappy longer length hex bolt, what are other options you guys use to lock down your spare in the frunk?
Thanks! |
