As a 914 newbie does the entire regulator need to be removed in order to remove the glass or can the forward bolt & plastic block that lifts the window be removed and the window carefully angled to remove it? I need to replace the forward channel guide fuzzy and I don't think it can be done with the window in place.

Be careful with that front adjusting screw. If I am not mistaken you could turn it to far and dent the door. Guys am I correct on this ?
