I didn't want to hijack @ValcoOscar Who's Coming thread, so I started a new one if folks want a place to upload photos.
Here's a heavily modified 914 that was at Magnus Walker's. The place was packed with cars and people. I'm amazed I got a shot without someone in front of the car. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ![]() |

I was at SMC this morning with the 67 911 and was happy to a Brand Ambassador as I ended up parking right in front of this little guy's house. He was giggling at all the cars...I hope this was a highlight for him.
Highlight for me was seeing PMB's new fuel injection replacement for D-jet. I was told roughly $3500 (maybe/probably less) for the whole thing that makes it plug n play Megasquirt. Wiring harness, brain, injectors, etc - that replaces your stock brain, cold start injector, injectors and (more importantly for me) the MPS. Comes with maps pre-programmed or you can roll your own/modify on a laptop. They're saying a just a couple of hours for the install and I believe em. This could be a real game changer - and most likely in my future. I was impressed. |

I was impressed. interesting, but seems like a lot if you are using the stock throttle body, intakes, or is this using the ITB set up ? i know they are doing some of each type of application. I know he's been playing with this for a while. certainly nice to have a option that is more modern and plug-n-play. Where are they placing the modern MAP sensor? |
