I have an old Monza 4 tip muffler unit laying around. It's not in all that bad of shape but I know there are better unit - though this is free to me and maybe good enough for now on my driver. However, I thought maybe it could be improved upon.. so I was considering cutting off the mufflers and their heavy double tip sections. The idea would be to try for a descent sound while also lightening the unit. Are there any suggestions for more modern and lighter boxes that I should look in to, for replacements? I'm also thinking of adding a much simpler 2" single outlet on each side - for additional weight savings. Any ideas or comments? .. maybe just don't bother?
