Hi,bought this parts car last weekend,it's a1976 2.0lt car. Can't get the front trunk to open. The release works as it should but won't pop the hood. Any ideas?

First travel someone press down on the cemetery of the hood above the lock while you pull the handle. Tie a loop of rope around the lock handle and put your wrist thru the loop to be able to pull harder.
If the fails remove the bumper and trip the lock eith a small screwdriver. No need to cut anything |
