I know nothing about it other than a German friend sent me the photo - and he didn't know any more, either!

interesting photo when you zoom in.

none of the cars at rear (bmw 2002, porsche 911s and one 914) have number plates.
new cars on a dealers lot?

as an aside every single car in the photo is a german car.
bmw, porsche, NSU and VW beetle.

the sole 914 in back row of cars is a 74. its got star steelies - just make them out and 74 bumpers. star steelies only from 74.

car in question looks like it might be a 70/71. if you zoom in you can make out that passenger seat is part of back rest. number plate is koln (cologne).
has a small black rear spoiler on trunk lid. and a bit of kitsch german custom tart up going on. racing mirrors everywhere - overkill. decorative vent plate or just chrome plate on targa bar. definitely not fake, genuine german kitsch. i'd even go so far as to date the photo as likely late 1973 to 1974 or thereabouts going off the cars in the back row. all small bumper 911s and they all look very new.
