This escalated quickly! 1.8 is out, getting ready ready for the 2056 to go in.

I got great news feom Ken Jansen yesterday! He called to let me know the 2056 long block is assembled and ready to have the cam broken in. I swung by today to settle up on the bill. Motor looks good!
general motor specs: 2056cc (forged pistons) OEM rods Raby FI Cam New lifters 8.3:1 compression New 2.0 heads (disassembled and gone through) Full flow Setrab external oil cooler adapter 911 elephant foot swivel rockers ARP head and case through studs New clutch/pressure plate Balanced rotating assembly 123 Distributor Most likely forgot something else we did... Still left to do: Install all the powder coated tins, fan, fan shroud Break in the cam (will break it in with carbs) Reassemble the ljet Weld on the afr bung Mount setrab oil cooler Wire uo fan controller Wire up the afr Wire up the cht sender & gauge Get harnesses from El Jeffe Figure out how to adapt the GoWesty throttlebody Get 15x6 Fuchs back from restoration Get 15" tires & install Get alternator rebuilt Etc. Etc. Too much to do!! |
