I have a 74 2.0 my question is will a VW bus voltage regulator work as a replacement? Og number 021 903 803A new one 043 903 803B (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Available again from Bosch. Unfortunately the nonsensical tariff situation has made it both difficult to get and difficult to get for a reasonable price. Sellers outside the US are reluctant to ship here without building in a hefty safety margin, and who could blame them. Here's a link to Mark's thread about them:

If you are in a tight spot I have an extra one, NIB, that I could sell. You can still get them from Cars245, either on eBay or directly, but shipping costs are now 3-4X what they were and you will have to pay tariffs on top of that.

EDIT: Actually, I see you are in Canada. You might be able to get them from Cars245 without all the BS we have to go through here.
