I stumbled upon this interesting (Italian) article about the 914 “Lenner” — in my opinion, a really interesting build. AI browser translators should be decent enough nowadays for an English read… enjoy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If you put
"lenner" custom cars
into Google, you'll find all kinds of interesting images and articles about his work.

Lenner was well known in the '70s in Germany, he worked on customizing all sorts of European cars, like the 914, Opel Kadett and Open GT.

Good knowledge...thx Andy ¡ Another German tuner Glöckler made this 1 of 1 9146 gt.
When I first laid eyes on it at the trade-in lot at Bev Hills P+A in the early '70s, I disliked the looks.
Could be had for $23,500 /offer.
Today I dig the quad head lights (might not be DOT height ) and the blank (oe) turn signal pods.
Price/ availability today would be a bit different !
