All: Finishing up the LE engine bay and I’d like to refinish the intakes in a color close to original. I don’t have spraying equipment so it needs to be rattle can. I checked the local Auto parts stores VHT selections and nothing comes close Jeff B had a rec back in 2006 but I’m not sure that company sells in small cans.
Suggestions? |

Thanks Garland: Those do look nice! I thought I had a solution, found a paint store that will custom mix automotive paint in a rattle can. Only to find out that they need a large flat space to scan for the correct color. So, went to Sherwin and found swatches that seemed really close that they could scan. Only then I didn't know whether to use the faded runner color or the color that was under the connecting hoses. I'm liking the Ford gray. Need to keep moving.
