All: Finishing up the LE engine bay and I’d like to refinish the intakes in a color close to original. I don’t have spraying equipment so it needs to be rattle can. I checked the local Auto parts stores VHT selections and nothing comes close Jeff B had a rec back in 2006 but I’m not sure that company sells in small cans.
Suggestions?

depends how fussy you want to be.

ford grey looks ok but its quite a bit off original.

original is VW L249. basically a dove grey with bluish tinge and a fair bit lighter than ford grey.

see here. this is very close if not 100% correct.
