Spent last week working on the 550 build. Trying to get 70 year old aluminum to be friends with new aluminum is challenging, but the car is taking shape.

The front clip is from a 356C and the rear is a repro frame. Real Wendler metal is the following: Nose and Left Fender Rockers Doors Hood Rear Clamshell Inner front fenders The rest we made. A friend who owns a real Spyder commented that my car probably has more original metal then most Spyders because they almost all been rebodied over the years. Attached thumbnail(s)
