Bought my current 914 6 years ago and the horn never worked. Finally got around to figuring out why yesterday.
Long story short: Nothing hacked (thank goodness!), still uses the factory relay. Steering column was converted to 924 or MK1 giving me intermittent wipers, accessory position etc. PO simply never took the wire from the horn button and plugged it to the relay. Problem solved, except, my horn sounds like a dying Goose, it's terrible. Thought about the Hella Supertone red horns, found an older thread where folks seem to like them and they bolt right up. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=309534 Any other bolt-in options people like? I have a single horn, but could install a dual system. -Dan |

I went with Hellas. The sounds a little bit Euro beep-beep but get the job done.
