Tap the hub out they said... It shouldn't take much force they said...
Ugh, after an hour of slide hammering with very little movement I pulled the retainer plate (not easy with hub in) and yanked the whole assembly off of the trailing arm. Then using a McGyver arrangement of gear pullers (broke one) managed to get the bearings loose from the hub stubs. Race car temps, some rust and age had them firmly stuck.... Finally going back together...     Attached image(s)

Ugh,,Glad you gotr done... On a Good Day I have a tool that pulls the Hub /Bearing without pulling the stub or axle...
