All: Wondering if anyone can forward a pic of the right front engine shroud with the engine on place. My engine will hopefully be going back in soon. I've ordered the rubber seal for this area, but still have some work to do, It looks like the gasket slot rotates about 90 degrees as it gets to the firewall. This started with a hacked and hammered mess and I've been able to get it mush closer to where I believe it should be. Any help is appreciated.

Find a piece of steel rod that fits the channel 3 inches weld a handle to the middle so you can reposition it, use it as a form, body hammer with a long flat surface, usually the opposite end of the round flat. Tap, bend eventually you will get it, if you do more damage you can replace the channel.

Yes some sort of metal former would really help , focus on the correct cap for the rubber seal ,it needs to fit properly as the T4 needs all the cooling help you can give it IMO.
