I am stuck trying to get my windows to fit correctly. The chassis is a 1974. The doors are from the 2nd half of 1972 which means that the regulator is the later type but there are no reinforcement baffles.
The triangle windows have almost no gap at the bottom and a huge gap at the top. This makes me think that the rail is at the wrong angle, but it is bolted into the door and doesn't have the room to alter the angle. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks. George |

I would want to see a picture of the bottom of the rail to make sure that the adjuster is in the correct position. I hope I can verbally explain. You should have the Aluminum channel with the adjuster screwed into it with the round part that makes the window top go in and out on the outside. Of the screwed tab.
So when you adjust the In-N-Out the round part of the screwed part will push the top of the window out. If you have it on the wrong side, typically you will see what you’re looking at. Good luck. |
