I can't say enough good things about the Stomski SR065 Exhaust Head Repair Kit. All the Stomski stuff I've acquired has been well designed and useful, but this one really saved my bacon.
One of the studs used to secure the intake manifold to the head has snapped off. There is about 3 mm of stud remaining. I thought I was going to have to tear down my freshly rebuilt engine and send the head out to a machine shop. The Stomski tool works just as advertised. The threads were a bit loose, but some red Loctite seemed to address that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif) No affiliation. Just sharing some good news, about a good tool, from a good vendor. ![]() ![]() |
