The bolts are stiff, so not wanting to rip out the fasteners. Do the bolts thru the hinge and into the fender apron have any adjustment to them, (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) if I get them loose?

Yes, the nuts are caged but not captive. You should get about ~5mm movement from each nut. Most adjustments to the door fit can be made with a 2x4 in minutes unless there is damage at the door post. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
