So I run coil overs front/rear
Currently I have Bilsteins up front. …some archaic markings that I cannot discern (518 AK57352 1610 1600 is stamped) Konis are on the rear. Both have been on for quite some time. I’ve had car since 2016, word is car sat for 8 years before I purchased it but who knows. Anyway, as part of a mild refresh, I think it’s time to replace. This is only a race car. Any thoughts on best option money not a huge object or best value for the money? Replace what was there? Von Shocks from elephant? MCS? …Ohlins? Thanks JAY |

For our level of racing (and let's fair: at our levels of skills and and age with resulting reduction in immortality) setting up a car to be predictable and give the driver confidence means far far more than trying to set it up to the nth degree that a pro would drive. This is what MCS dampers are great at, plus you can adjust them to get that last little bit out of the car. I am a little bias since I work there. We offer the front struts in different spindle heights and can add or take camber out of them. |
