***Go to the end for the UPDATE***

Hi all you teeners

My car's idle sticks at 2k if I turn it off and start it immediately it goes back to 950.

Looking for a vendor to fix this - I of course rebuilt it when the engine was out. I am sure all was done correctly (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I believe that the wrong springs may have been in the rebuild kit.

Is there a vendor that rebuilds and calibrates these?

Thank you Teeners!

I have almost 3 of these Marelli units. One was working fine in my car until
engine changes required a bosch S type curve, so they are sitting. You can
check them out and see how the weights move/feel, and test install.

I have to assume that there is something sticky preventing free movement of the
weights. This is very low tech.
