Hi - happy Friday all.

I pulled the professionally rebuild but incorrectly assembled (ugh!) gearbox to install one that Dr Evil rebuilt (yah!). I need to swap the whole assembly as a unit (#10 and all the attached parts) over which would be the first time I'm doing that so it seemed prudent to ask for some coaching to make sure I do it properly.

Best to do prior to installing the Dr Evil rebuilt box or can it be done as easily once that is installed on the car? Any tips on making sure I get the alignment correct?

Thanks!

Did your “professional “ rebuilder check/replaced bushing #11 and replaced seal #12?

Before installing the console, you may want to check…

Will check for sure, thanks for pointing that out.
