Hi all, Please help with this if you can. it seems I have not found a clear answer on this question. I have a 73 914 2.0. If I go out in the morning before I run the car the oil level reads about half an inch above the high/full mark. If I start/run the car then shut it off ; wait 4-5 min then check it its right on the high mark. So the Question is which method is correct? in the am after car has sat for hours or after start up then shut off and wait 4-5 min? Thank you 914 people - much appreciated, Joe
