I had these marks on the brake dust shield and on the trailing arms.
Should I replicate them on to my car? Looking for a concourse restoration. Makes sense to me that I should but I never know what is correct.

My 911 dash. I changed the color and it’s covered by the dash pad but I plan to replicate the markings anyway. Just on the dash. The rest of the car is a hot rod and the markings and date codes mean nothing.
