I am prepping for next weekends event and was wondering what the group knowledge in on these undercar air deflectors that go just in front of the engine on the bottom side of the floor pan.

I did some experiments on my 6-cyl several years ago and found that they help with
lowering the oil temp. Not proof for the 4-cyl but hey the factory added them. It is
a very cheap thing to do if it doesn't do any harm.
