I'm in the process of recovering my seats. The fiberglass passenger bucket has three holes on both sides of the base. Does it bolt directly to the floor? No brackets? I can't remember how it came out of the car. Seems weird to bolt it directly to the floor?

No hold down plates on the early seat base. Even though its fiberglass, there's no torque on the seat bottom from acceleration or braking. It's just sitting on the floor and held in position with the studs.
Flat washer, lock washer, nut. |
