I'm finishing up new vinyl install and I'm having trouble with the sail trim attachment (PO had it glued in place). Does the clip face rearward? Also, the clip seem too narrow to engage both sides of the channel in the underside of the trim piece. Is this normal or is the clip simply too small? Thank you, John

I haven't attached one in years but I thought it just clipped on the end and used some double faced tape or butyl to keep it from moving. The reproduction pieces, even from Porsche, are not as good as older oem.
