I'm finishing up new vinyl install and I'm having trouble with the sail trim attachment (PO had it glued in place). Does the clip face rearward? Also, the clip seem too narrow to engage both sides of the channel in the underside of the trim piece. Is this normal or is the clip simply too small? Thank you, John

If I recall right, you need to rotate the clip 90 degrees and it will slide into the trim piece and you attach the nut from inside the fender well. You could use some dum-dum on the trim piece to keep the clip from being loose in the trim. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
