Had clutch replaced and shop didn’t reconnect the ground strap when putting the trans back up. Hence the sluggish starting issue. Couldn’t find where to connect it to the trans, so connected it to the engine mount bolt (ground confirmed; see pic). New OEM strap is same length as old. I’ve replaced it before but don’t think I used the engine mount. Where should it go on the trans? |

The ground strap attaches at the transmission tail housing. Remove an upper nut and install the strap.
Heck if you look you may find that the shop either left the nut loose or removed it from where the strap belongs. |
