I am getting ready to pull my windshield so I can replace my dash top and padding .

Where is the best place to buy new clips for the metal trim ?

I figured while it's out I might as well replace the windshield with one I can see out of .

Ron,
I just went through this with the LE. Unfortunately, the 914rubber ones are too brittle. Buy the OE Porsche clips. They're like $4-5 per clip so be ready for that. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) They are not cheap but neither is the chrome that they are tasked with holding down. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Pelican sells them.

I believe it’s 19. The 914rubber ones are too brittle and result in a failed install when they crack.
