New (refurbished) and a new headliner. I thought I had used a good spray adhesive (3M?) but the headliner keeps falling. What’s the trick?

i use this stuff these days for contact adhesive applications.
its very good. better than 3M i have found. not that 3M is bad, but this gear appears to be that little bit better. but its more $ you got to follow the directions. the usual drill. clean both surfaces thoroughly. degrease as well. metholated spirits or iso propyl alc for that final clean. then get the timing right on the tackiness. the stuff i use comes in a can and is not sprayed on. i have never seen it in a spray can form. you got to use a brush. its almost impossible to clean the brush after use - so i have a packet of disposable brushes. ![]() |
