Cleaning things up for this Sunday’s concours and noticed an open nipple on the side of the gas tank expansion chamber. Should this be open to relieve pressure/vaccuum or connect to something? The end paint is worn, suggesting (?) something was attached to it but don’t see any nearby lines other than windshield washer. In 52 years don’t know why I never noticed it before.
It’s not the line on the other side, going to the charcoal canister.
