Selling a Stage III Kennedy Engineering V8 Flywheel, clutch kit, throw-out bearing, bolts etc. 9" clutch

You might want to verify that...
Gen II (LS1 and up) are internally balanced. Early series 1 SBCs are too. (283/302/327/350) But the late series 1 (86 and up with 1 piece rear main seals) and the 400 are not. The late engines got roller lifters in 87 and un-drilled mechanical fuel pump mounts. That flywheel looks like it has been modified for an external balance engine in my book. I believe that will fit 86 and up series 1 SBC. If I was putting a series 1 SBC together, I would choose 87 and up 4 bolt main block and "Vortec" style heads. It is easy to build a 500+ hp engine with little more than stroker crank, medium cam, H-beams, valve springs, roller rockers using a basically stock block and heads. I might be wrong here but you're going to want to verify what you have before you sell it. Super nice-looking pieces for very low price! If I was planning an SBC 914 I'd have already purchased this from you! |
