There was a recent listing on BaT for a blue 914 GT Tribute that was only bid up to 70k. Why do you think it didn't go any higher? Its not mine but I'm building one and don't want to make any possible mistakes that this person did. Thanks.

I am no expert but high value buyers will be looking for perfection.
Although this is a nice car, I definitely see many pictures with details that weren't pushed to the high buyer expected level of restoration/conversion.
Some could be easily corrected, some would require more work all of which equals to money and time.

Market said $70k as this is what someone was ready to pay for that car, hence its value at that time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
