I pulled my engine recently to do some cleaning/maintenance and saw the AAV was floating there with no real place to anchor it down. Is this where it's supposed to be located? It's a '74 1.8. I see I had run a grounding wire off of it to one of the engine tin screws. It's been many years since I rebuilt the motor and I completely forget how I did this. Thanks

Ther AAV is secured by to screws to a bracket should that is bolted to the engine case via one bolt on the engine case between the air plenum and the oil filler tower. Super ironic that you post this today, I had to remove mine two days ago to investigate an air leak.
