Hello Teeners! Is there a difference or interchangeable on this 2 type of fan? Also anyone have the spacer #15 and each 3 of #6, 7 & 8? Thank you! They are not all directly interchangeable. Some use longer (or shorter) fasteners. If you have too long bolts in a fan that uses shorter ones, they will tear up the seal. Also, if you need timing marks, some significant differences exist and you'll be left wondering how to time your motor (can use a dial back timing light). Also, it's a good idea to lap the crankshaft end with the fan and ensure the woodruff key fits properly when you final fit everything together. |
