While replacing my turn signal I noticed some old dried grease on both sides of the horn contacts. What should I replace it with? Does it need to be conductive?

The factory manual says "Lightly grease contact ring for signal horn. Use electrical contact grease." What they fail to clarify is, do they mean conductive or not. I have seen arguments both for and against conductive grease as well as dielectric grease. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |
