74 with a eg3.3. 914 transaxle being swapped for a 2005 Impreza 5 speed. And lastly the car has flow masters that will absolutely make your ears ring for days
So first off I need to get some front inner cv joints preferably OEM Subaru and I’m struggling. My plan is to then have Dutchman modify my stock 914 axle to a Subaru inner spline. Finding front, inner Subaru cv joints has been challenging. I see rock auto has complete axles but most are Chinese and the reviews are all over the place. Vibration seems to be a real problem. Subaru parts shops are telling me different things like new cv are no longer available, or they have a new updated unit, or there not sure. I get that fronts are different from rears. Anyone an expert on Subaru cv’s Next is my dang exhaust. I’m serious you guys. The decibels are ludicrous and the drone unbearable with these dual flow masters. There would be no communication with anyone on a road trip let alone my brains spattered throughout the interior. Looking at some turbo style but ultimately want a nice tone, no drone and the ability to enjoy a fairly quiet drive with reasonable performance still at work. Any suggestions? At nearly 70 my needs have changed. Attached thumbnail(s) |
