Am proud owner of a very rare but worthless, VW-Bosch part #022906209, in black nylon no less! I actually have a couple of these. Yee-ha! A similar part was made by Amp in white nylon, and the ubiquitous common part with the strap handle is #022906209A.

Or better, who has collections like 500+ nos headlight motors or front wheel bearing covers, proof that you’ve got the sickness, and it’s bad.

Post what rare, worthless 914 parts you have to amuse us? No damaged, broken parts please…

It's supposed to save your car and "hell hole" from being ruined by battery acid:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/332587550904?var=0...a96f693016e3953

"Porsche 914 factory battery cover brand new from famous HO campaign.
As we all know 914s all suffer from battery area damage as the battery gets hot the voltage regulator disfunctions and over charges the battery boils and the rain comes through the grille and washes the battery acid down onto and into the frame! The best and easiest way to prevent this is to install one of the large factory HO campaign factory battery covers along with one of our great battery mats. This buy it now is for one of these factory covers which will certainly keep rain off of the battery and save your car. Great buy it now on this piece and the concours judges will approve of it!"
