I was perusing my files on a 914 LE that went back over the pond a few years ago (sent from the US), and found the 'COA' from VW that the owner acquired and sent to me. Thought this was potentially an interesting approach to the PPS/CTCs now available.
Not sure where to source these from, perhaps a VW dealership? Attached thumbnail(s)

Very Interesting! It can't hurt to have too much documentation for my LE (VIN-14854).
Also interesting is the "cannot be identified" items. I wonder if M778 is what my COA calls the " 'CANAM' Limited Edition Package"? |

The car on the cert is a US market 914LE, shipped back overseas. |
