Brain trust: I have a bout 60 miles on the LE motor and it's running pretty well. I have the regulator that came with the car, age is unknown. I am getting voltage readings anywhere between 12.6 to 14.2 at the battery depending on the rpm and temperature. My questions: Pelican shows a Hella unit that looks just like to one I have. Are there any solid state units out there that would be better to have? I don't have a spare so I'm going to order whatever is recommended, if for nothing else but to have a spare. BTW, the alternator looks to be a relatively new addition, prior to my taking stewardship, it's a Bosch reman.

Robbo The Hella one made in china appears to be the same one sold for some time by them that I can confirm doesn't fit properly ...whey they continue to sell them is beyond me : (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) . |
