Replaced the TPS and while the throttle body is out, I decided to clean it. During this process, I noticed a couple of things that I do not know if they are issues or not.

#1 The hole bleow the idle set screw (that I so dutifully cleared of many years of gunk) has no corresponding hole in the intake plenum. In fact, it appears to have been closed off intentionally. See Pic #1.

#2 The Vacuum line nipple that corresponds to the tiny hole above the butterfly in the throttle body is also closed off intentionally. See Pic #2.

Stock FI car, pertronix electronic ignition as info.

Wondering if these are issues at all or do they need correction??

That's the advance port. The retard port is below the butterfly and on the other side. The advanced port is plugged on later TBs.
