My backpad has good vinyl and foam but the cardboard backing is wrecked. I bought the plastic replacement parts from 914rubber.

There are a couple of videos on how to reupholster the seats but I can't find anything on how to move the old backpad covering to the new backpad parts.

I did read the installation FAQ on the 914rubber website but a video would be really great. If there is no video, maybe I should attempt to make one.

Thanks.

George

I’ve never heard of anyone using the old foam and vinyl on a new back pad. Not saying you can’t but the trick will be removing those pieces from the cardboard. If you can do that successfully, just use weldwood contact cement to attach the old to the new.
