Hi.. installed a new voltage regulator a BWD (BORG WARNER) R588 on first start up generator light came on and stayed till I gave it a rev stock vdo volt gage climbed to 16 volts and looked like it wanted more. Is this a problem? What does the brain trust suggest? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) TIA Dennis

I would put an actual multi-meter on it rather than trusting the dash gauge, but yeah, 16v to the battery is something your battery is not going to enjoy for extended periods of time. |
