I am looking for the basic timing curve settings for a 123 TUNE+ 4-R-V-P distributor for a dual 40 IDF carbureted 2056.

I have been all over the different forums and really looking for more specific information for my build.

Thanks.

I have a switch model 123ignition on my 2258 cc engine with Eurocams J Grind camshaft and Weber 44 IDFs. Need to check, but I don't think there is a vacuum connection to the distributor. It's running okay with switch setting "C" but there's some popping or misfiring in the lower rpm range, and cold starting is sometimes tricky (that may be me though). Dynamic timing has been set at 30 * BTDC maximum.

I'd like to know what each of the preset advance curves looks like, but all I can find is the table that's in the 123ignition user manual. Do I assume each preset curve is a straight line between the start and end points? I can't imagine this is the case.

123ignition advised me that either curve C or curve 3 should be good for this engine set up. Any comments or advice from the forum would be great!
