There currently is a discussion in the classifieds about 914-6 oil tanks that drifted into other discussions such as filter location.
Link: http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=379458 What would be the cleanest way to move the oil filter from the stock 914-6 location to a vertical installation on the lower firewall? Can the filter console at the tank be capped with some U-turn? Zero experience with a 914-6 setup, but it seems like replacing the horizontally placed oil filter has a high potential of making a mess. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Or is there a simple trick? |
