Good afternoon,
I am looking to recover my door panels/cards. I have the material from 914 Rubber to do so. Searched the forums but didn't come up with anything. Looking at the doors currently they appear to have the vinyl affixed via 3mm or 1/8" very thin staples. So my Arrow T50 stapler is out as it will not shoot 1/8" staples. I read that a series 71 stapler may work but I also cannot find one of those that works with less then 1/4" or 6mm staples. What is everyone using to affix their new vinyl on their door panels? |

I used aa Arrow JT27 with JT21 1/8" staples. You can find it on Amazon or other online retailers. I paid $15.00 with a box of 1,000 staples. That sounds like it could work. I can find the stapler but not JT21 staples with a 1/8" leg. Looking right on the Arrow site they do not offer them. Is there a part # you can share or were they 3rd party versions? I checked Amazon.Com, Amazon.Ca and ArrowToolGroup.Com I wanted to update this thread with my experience purchasing an Arrow JT27 and 3mm staples off amazon. The staples fit inside the stapler just fine, and it sounds like it should be shooting a staple when the handle is squeezed - but it does NOT shoot out these small staples at all. On the side of the JT27 stapler, is engraved ‘6mm, 8mm, 10mm’ - I purchased the 3mm because they were mentioned to be the size to get. I’m still wanting yo figure this out and was hoping others would have suggestions or offer exact links to what’s working for them. Attached thumbnail(s) |

All staplers seemed to suggest the sizes of staple leg length they could handle. I assumed that was key and bought the one I indicated above as it mentioned very short leg lengths supported. I never tried any stapler that did not suggest the short leg length was supported. Sorry I can't be of more help. |
