Hi fellow members,

I thought I’d start a thread dedicated to everything related to Porsche 914 Celette fixtures, 914-specific jigs and setups.

After years of searching, I finally managed to find a complete original set of Celette 914 jigs, still in its original wooden crate (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) .
After having a closer look at the set, it seems like it hasn’t been used much (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) .

For now, these jigs will be used on my two 914s and on a customer’s 914/6 project, but I’m sure they’ll see some more 914s in the future as well.

The Celette set number is: 153.00

As far as I know, these sets are extremely rare. I searched through the 914World forums and only managed to find one other member who owns a set ( @Luke M - who also has a great resto topic of 914 on the Celette bench) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) .

I’m really curious how many of these sets are still out there and how many are still actually being used today. Based on my research and some Google searching, I managed to find a few sets here in Europe and a few in the US, but I’m sure there are probably more sitting somewhere in workshops or private collections.

From what I’ve been able to find out so far, it seems that only a relatively small number of these sets were produced back in the day.

So I thought it would be nice to have one thread where we can collect anything related to Celette benches and Porsche 914s dedicated jigs, fixtures, measurements, setups, restorations, old documentation, photos, etc.

If you have any photos of a 914 on a Celette bench using the dedicated 914 jigs, please post them here! It would be great to see different setups, jig sets and workshop photos, and hopefully we can gather some useful information in one place.

To get things started, I’m adding some photos of my newly acquired jig set and the documents that are part of the set (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) .
